Mechanical City Village of Denmark
This is a unique piece. The Village of Denmark also called the Mechanical City was constructed 150 years ago by the Pallesen Mr. Hendriksen from Denmark. He was constructing this unique piece during a period of 10 years. hundreds of different movements and figures. This mechanical city was an unique attraction during 3 generation of his family who traveled around the world with this equipment and visited shows and exhibitions to make their living. This masterpiece was also exhibited at World Fair 1933 at Chicago. This is maybe the biggest automata ever made: 530 x 179 x 250 cm. This masterpiece can be dismantled in 6 sections at 178 x 71 cm for transportation and set-up.
This unit we just finished to restore and it will be a great attraction for any museum or large collection.
